Clubs & Organizations

The Psychology Club is open to students from all majors. Members meet monthly to enjoy a variety of activities such as movies, barbeques, career discussions, andspeakers with a psychological bent.

Psi Chi is the International Honor Society for Psychology majors or minors. The Whittier Chapter of Psi Chi recently celebrated its 30th Anniversary, and has received several Model Chapter Awards. Students of academic distinction in their psychology classes are invited to join Psi Chi, which focuses on advancing the science of psychology and community service.

Officers of these two student organizations comprise the Psychology Student Council which, from time to time, will be asked to represent psychology students in department matters, such as hiring new faculty members and evaluating faculty performance.
