Academic Credentials

As the Admission Committee reviews applications, we are interested in understanding the student’s ability to academically succeed at the College. With this in mind, we evaluate the level of coursework completed by the student in addition to the scores or grades obtained. We also consider the SAT I scores in conjunction with the TOEFL score. The student essay and the letters of recommendation are also important parts of the application and help us to determine if the student is prepared to enter Whittier College.
