Graduate and Credential Students
How to Apply for Financial Aid:
- Complete the FAFSA online through www.fafsa.ed.gov beginning January 1st (school code 001342)
- Complete the Credential/Graduate Financial Aid Request form. This form can be found in our office, 2nd floor Weingart Hall, or it can be printed from Forms and Deadline.
- New Incoming Graduate or Credential- must be admitted to college and submit a copy of the letter of Admissions to either the Credential or Graduate program. In addition, the Office of Financial Aid must receive the FAFSA application and Cred/Grad Financial Aid Request form. Also, please keep in mind that additional information may be needed, for which you will be contacted at a later date.
- From Credential to Graduate- the Office of Financial Aid must have a copy of your new post undergraduate standing. In addition, the office must receive the FAFSA application and the Cred/Grad Financial Aid Request form.
Your Award Notification
- The Office of Financial Aid will begin processing award packages after the student has been admitted to the college, a FAFSA application and Cred/Grad Financial Aid Request form have been received, and if needed, any other documentation.
- An award letter will be generated as soon as possible and sent to the permanent address on file.
- The student will have to accept or decline their awards along with reading, understanding, and signing the conditions of acceptance on the back of the award letter.
- Award letters are subject to change due to outside grants (e.g. teaching grant). Revised award letters will be generated and sent after the changes have been made.
