Getting started on the college search? Here in the Office of Admission, we are always available to assist you with any questions or concerns you have about the College, the application process, or just the transition from high school life. We are all professionals with a passion for both higher education and the mission stated by Whittier College, and we want to help you with your college search as your high school career rolls on.

Whittier takes liberal arts to the extreme. Nationally recognized for innovative interdisciplinary programs and a strong liberal arts curriculum, Whittier College offers students extensive experiential learning opportunities in and around Los Angeles and Orange County as well as throughout the nation and the world. Students practice writing while studying biology or learn about social work while exploring the role of plants in Mexican history. Of course, our intelligent students couldn't do it without guidance. Our faculty has been trained at the finest universities in the world and know their subjects backwards and forwards. At Whittier, we roll up our sleeves and discover truth together, student and professor, side-by-side.

We can also boast one of the most dynamic locations in all of the United States. The last city in Los Angeles County and bordering Orange County, Whittier College is right in the middle of it all.
