Facilities Reservation System
WHITTIER COLLEGE CALENDARS
- The Internal Campus Events Calendar serves as the primary calendar for facilities reservations, while advertising events and activities that are open to only the Whittier College community (student club meetings, OSA trips, music/theatre auditions, faculty-led workshops, Career Services/Internship informational sessions, etc.). This calendar is searchable by event, facility, sponsoring group, and by date. Student organizations and departments are encouraged to review the calendar before planning events on campus to prevent schedule conflicts. This calendar is maintained by the Office of Student Activities, x4986.
- The Public Master Calendar, which is accessible through the homepage of the College website (the global tool named "Calendar"), reflects events open to the public-at-large, special events (Commencement, Whittier Weekend, Family Weekend) or of likely interest to prospective students, alumni, current parents, or other visitors to campus. This calendar is searchable by audience category, type of event, and date. If you have an event that qualifies for posting (e.g., concert, lecture, theatrical performance, open Faculty Master's event, etc.), please contact the Communications Office, x4277 or mediarelations@whittier.edu.
EVENT & FACILITY REQUESTS
- Departments must first have a departmental or personal login and password to access the Event and Facility Request Form. If you do not have a login and password, please contact the Office of Student Activities at x4986 for assistance. Once logged in to the reservation system, you may request facilities on a specific date and time, ask for catering, and order chairs and tables as well as many other resources that you need for your event. Once the form is completed and submitted, it will be reviewed by the facility manager and approved within five business days.
