Recognition Programs

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Sponsored by the Office of the President and administered by Human Resources, the Employee of the Month Program recognizes those members of the College staff who have put forth "extra-ordinary effort in the performance of their jobs."

The purpose of this program is:

  • To acknowledge innovative, creative, and exceptional achievements that increase productivity and improve the management of programs and services;
  • To reflect the esteem with which dedicated employees are held by co-workers, management, and the College community as a whole;
  • To recognize those accomplishments which reflect superior ability and enhance the College's image of responsible and productive service to the community;
  • To encourage employees at all levels to improve their productivity and level of service; and
  • To improve employee morale by being recognized for a "Job Well Done."

To nominate an employee for this program, please complete the Nomination Form and return it to Human Resources by the 15th of each month.

EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION EVENT

Each May prior to Commencement, the Employee Recognition Event takes place, celebrating the many accomplishments and contributions made by staff throughout the year. Division Employees of the Year are named, and other outstanding performance awards are handed out.
