First OMEP-USA High School Chapter

OMEP-Manual High School in Louisville,
Kentucky – OMEP-USA’s first high School chapter. They
describe themselves this way: “We are 7 eager teenagers
who strive to make a difference and are willing to put
ourselves to work in order to achieve that.”
FIRST MULTI-UNIVERSITY OMEP CHAPTER
FORMED DURING STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM IN DENMARK
Students from more than 10 American
universities formed the first multi-university chapter
of OMEP-USA in Copenhagen in June 2011. They were taking
a course on children's rights in the Child Diversity and
Development Program at the Denmark's Institute for Study
Abroad (DIS).
