First OMEP-USA High School Chapter

OMEP-Manual High School in Louisville, Kentucky – OMEP-USA’s first high School chapter. They describe themselves this way: “We are 7 eager teenagers who strive to make a difference and are willing to put ourselves to work in order to achieve that.”

Students from more than 10 American universities formed the first multi-university chapter of OMEP-USA in Copenhagen in June 2011. They were taking a course on children's rights in the Child Diversity and Development Program at the Denmark's Institute for Study Abroad (DIS).
