ASSISTANT/ ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ADMISSION
Whittier College invites applications for an opening in the Admission Office to be part of an energetic and innovative team in supporting the recruitment goals of the institution.
Responsibilities include planning and managing in assigned recruitment territories; representing the institution at college fairs; reviewing and evaluating admission files; extensive contact with prospective students, their parents and high school counselors; strategic planning to help department meet enrollment goals; supervisory/management experience; Bachelor's degree required. Effective interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to relate well to students, faculty, parents and staff are essential. Requires an organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who is able to work well with enthusiasm as part of a team. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required. At least three years of admission experience is strongly preferred.
The anticipated starting date is late January. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. CAMPUS SAFETY OFFICER
The successful candidate must be able to interact effectively with students, faculty and staff. Prefer Reserve or Basic Academy experience. The position requires minimum 300 hours related training. The candidate must have a valid CA driver's license.

DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI RELATIONS
The Director of Alumni Relations is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Alumni Relations Program designed to increase alumni engagement and support. Through a wide variety of programming, volunteer opportunities, and communications, the Director will build strong ties among alumni and the College. In particular, the Director will organize reunion programs, regional chapters, and special events. The Director will oversee activities of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and Alumni Council, the Executive Committee and other volunteer committees. As a member of the Advancement management team, the director will work closely with the development, advancement services and communications offices as well as with virtually all members of the College community including its talented and highly accomplished faculty. He/she will cultivate and advance relationships with alumni volunteers and prospective donors. Oversee the implementation and utilization of the College’s online community and work closely with colleagues in the Communications Office to enhance connections among alumni and the College. Oversee day-to-day activities of the Office of Alumni Relations including staff hiring and supervision, performance appraisals, work study, and make recommendation on staffing structure, promotions and salary levels. Position requires some travel and a commitment to working some evenings and weekends.
The successful candidate will have five or more years of experience in alumni programming, preferably at a small liberal arts institution. Requires superior management, organization and planning skills; a track record of alumni program development and implementation. A Bachelor's degree is required.

HEAD WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH
Whittier College (CA) is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a full-time, 10 month administrative and professional staff position, reporting to the Director of Athletics. Whittier College is a private liberal arts college and a member of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, SCIAC, as well as NCAA Division III. The Head Women’s Basketball Coach will be responsible for the organization and management of an NCAA Division III Basketball program in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Athletics Department and the college. Bachelor’s degree is required with a Master’s degree preferred.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years coaching experience, excellent communication skills; exhibit high ethical standards, and the ability to work in a team orientated environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for coaching and organizing all practices and games, recruiting quality student-athletes, budgeting, scheduling and travel planning, monitoring student-athlete academic progress and commitment to comply with all policies and regulations governing the NCAA. The position will also entail secondary athletic administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
