Physical Plant & Maintenance

The service provider for Whittier College buildings and grounds is Sodexho Campus Services. The staff who work in this division provide critical housekeeping, maintenance, and grounds-keeping services for the 75-acre campus, encompassing all residential housing and administration buildings, four sports fields, parking lots, and landscaped and natural areas.

Requests for Assistance

For non-emergency requests—office relocation or moving services, event set-up/break-down, maintenance, housekeepinghe faculty and staff of the College should place a Work Order via the online, password-protected "Get.It!" program; the log-in page can be found by clicking here. Prior to the initial log-in, an identification and password may be obtained by contacting the office at 562.907.4261. Students living on campus are encouraged to place work orders for their respective residence halls through members of the Residential Life staff.

Emergency requests should be made by directly contacting the facilities office, at 562.907.4261, or, in off-hours or weekends, by contacting Campus Safety at 562.907.4211.
