Sexual Health: Disease Prevention, Testing, Care

In addition to its ongoing sexual health education programs, women's gynecological health exams, and monthly wellness newsletter, Whittier College Student Health Services offers sexually transmitted infectious disease (STD) screenings, education and preventive measures, prescriptions, and referrals for treatment. Available to students through the Center are:

  • educational brochures
  • pap tests and birth control methods (the pill, Depo-Provera injections)
  • condoms and dental dams
  • emergency contraception
  • physician and facility referrals, as necessary.

All screenings and test results are, by law, kept confidential. However, should a student desire to seek care more anonymously, the following organizations offer STD and HIV/AIDS prevention programs, screenings, and treatment.
