Student Government
Every undergraduate student of Whittier College is a member of the Associated Students of Whittier College (ASWC). The Council of Representatives (COR) is the elected government of the ASWC, with officials serving rotating terms of office during a calendar year.
Together, the ASWC and COR are tasked with allocating student fees each semester for student organizations and campus services, such as the Quaker Campus newspaper, KPOET radio station, and the Acropolis yearbook. COR, through recommendations made by its five executive committees, then administers student fees, sponsors programming, funds recognized groups, and represents students’ needs and concerns to the College administration.
