The following are a representative list of the student clubs and organziations active in the 2007-2008 year. Please contact the Office of Student Activities if you are interested in forming a new organization, or if you'd like to know more about clubs governance, funding, and operations.
ARTS-RELATED
- Music Business Club

The Music Business Club is perfect for anyone interested in working in entertainment, specifically with musicians. Each year a career panel is hosted on-campus. - Photography Club

The club promotes photography as art, participates in museum outings and fundraising activities. In addition, there is an on-campus darkroom for club member use.

- Breakdancing Club

This group meets to practice the fine art of breakdancing, learn some sweet new moves, and appreciate of the culture associated with breakdancing. - Cheer Squad

The purpose of Whittier College Cheer Squad is to build morale for athletic teams, to promote spirit on campus, and to instill pride in Whittier College. - Dance Team

The Dance Team strives to support Whittier College by participating at various athletic and non-athletic school events. The Dance Team performs stylized hip-hop and technical jazz routines, which are choreographed by professionals as well as students. - Martial Arts Club

The Martial Arts Club offers students a weekly opportunity to learn and practice combat skills on campus. The classes are primarily for beginners and students are currently not competing outside of the college. - Ski and Snowboard Club

Founded by a Whittier College student/professional snowboarder, the Ski and Snowboard Club is all about hitting the slopes for a good time and also plays a large role in the annual Snow Jam. - Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC)

SAAC represents each of the SCIAC varsity teams on campus. They meet regularly to discuss NCAA rules and regulations, as well as look out for the overall well-being of our Poet athletes. - Wickets & Bails (Cricket Club)

When Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans, the city began an unbelievable task of rebuilding. Each Spring Break, students take the cross-country trip to help rebuild the Big Easy. - Rotaract Club
