Gift Policy
The Board of Trustees of Whittier College has established and adopted a Gift Acceptance Policy. The purpose of the Policy is to give guidance and counsel to those concerned with soliciting gifts on behalf of Whittier College. All gifts are to be accepted or rejected in accordance with the policies set forth herein. To prevent misunderstandings and conflicts, these guidelines should be viewed as flexible and realistic in order to accommodate unpredictable fundraising situations and donor expectations. Such situations and expectations, however, must be consistent with the College's mission and this Policy.
