Support Whittier
Friends of Broadoaks
Broadoaks relies primarily on the generosity of donors to maintain its services because a priority of the school is to maintain a representative socio-economic, ethnic, and ability balance in all its classrooms. This balance is crucial to the school's work in teacher education, since a student population that approximates that of the public schools provides the most meaningful "learning laboratory" for both current and future teachers.
Some members of the Friends of Broadoaks are parents or grandparents of a Broadoaks student. Others support Broadoaks because they believe in the school’s work for children and for educators. You may obtain further information by calling (562) 907-4250 or by e-mailing Kathleen Pompey.
You may become a Friend of Broadoaks by (1) contributing the amounts listed below annually and (2) inviting at least one other person to become a Friend of Broadoaks.
