Film Screening: "Fifty Lakes One Island"

Hartley House and ENVS/ENST invite you to take a "walk" on the wild side...

Join for us a film screening of Fifty Lakes One Island, followed by a discussion with filmmaker George Desort.

Desort has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Columbia College and twelve years of filmmaking experience. During the summer of 2011 he spent eighty days filming the wilds of Isle Royale National Park. His photography has appeared in Audubon, National Geographic, Backpacker, The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and on PBS affiliates across the country. Fortunate Wilderness, the wolf and moose study of Isle Royale, was a finalist at the 2009 International Wildlife Film Festival and Fifty Lakes One Island took home the 2014 Audience Choice Award.
