Special Interest Organizations

Asian Students Association (ASA)
The Asian Students Association promotes the cultures and traditions of the Asian countries. It does so through social activities which encourage Asian Americans to unify with their past.

Bisexual, Gay, and Lesbian Alliance for Diversity (BGLAD)
BGLAD is a confidential group that serves as a support system for students and involves them in crucial political issues affecting the bisexual, gay, and lesbian community. The organization's focus is to end discrimination through educating the Whittier community.

Black Student Union (BSU)
The members of the Black Student Union assist Black students enrolled at Whittier College in being successful, both academically and socially. In addition, BSU seeks to make an impact on the political, cultural, psychological, and intellectual development of its members

Chinese Club
The Chinese Club promotes Chinese language and culture on campus. The purpose of this club is to create a sense of community for anyone interested in Chinese culture and to act as a support and resource for all students studying Chinese language, culture, or politics.

Hawaiian Islander Club (HIC)
The purpose of the Hawaiian Islanders’ Club is to promote cultural insight and appreciation of the Hawaiian culture to the Whittier College community.

Hispanic Students Association (HSA)
HSA is a student organization open to all students that are interested in participating and learning about Latino issues and culture. It is very active in promoting the Latino culture through different social events, field trips and speakers from the community. In addition, the club participates in the surrounding area through community service and mentoring to college bound students.

International Club
Composed of both international and domestic students, the International Club is one of the newer clubs on campus. Its goal is to celebrate and explore the rich diversity within the Whittier College community. If you are looking for fun and experience, come check it out.

Jewish Student Union
The members of the Jewish Student Union associate to spread Jewish awareness through various activities and principles classified by the Jewish faith.

Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano/a de Aztlan (M.E.Ch.A.)
M.E.Ch.A. promotes and encourages Chicano/a and Latino/a people to pursue and continue higher education, while maintaining a strong sense of self identity and pride.

Native American Student Association (NASA)
The Native American Student Association is committed to bringing about cultural awareness of Native Americans. Native American cultures, customs and practices are presented and discussed with members of the Whittier College community.

Omega Pi Alpha Greek Club
We the members of Omega Pi Alpha Greek Club promote awareness of modern and historical Greek culture through group activities, fieldtrips, hosting on campus events, and fun! OPA!!!!

Spanish Club
The Spanish Club consists of a group of students who have a common love for the Spanish language and engage in activities that explore various aspects of Spanish-speaking cultures.

Whittier College Christian Fellowship (WCCF)
Whittier College Christian Fellowship seeks to communicate God’s love to the campus and to encourage the spiritual growth of its members through prayer, worship, fellowship and discipleship.

Women to Women to Men
The members of Women to Women to Men associate to promote women’s health. They help bring education and awareness about women’s issues the community while forming support and discussion groups for members.
