Travis Driskell (CA) wasn't just a football defensive back for the Whittier Poets, he was a 1st Team All-Conference selection and second on the squad in tackles (88). He was also vice-president of the physics honor society Sigma Pi Sigma, an intern at the Aerospace Corporation working on atomic clocks, and a tutor in the physics department. And when he wasn't hosting star-gazing trips or sci-fi movie nights in his role as president of the Physics Club, he played intramural soccer and basketball. Travis knew that no school does ‘’well rounded’’ better than Whittier.
