ADMISSION STANDARDS AND PROCESS
| In keeping
with its tradition and values, Broadoaks welcomes
children who represent the rich diversity of Whittier
and its surrounding communities. Children are admitted
on the basis of criteria designed to sustain diverse,
balanced and representative classroom populations.
We seek balance in the following areas: gender,
cultural and socioeconomic background, ethnicity,
learning styles, and academic abilities. |

Broadoaks
maintains waiting lists for all of its classes.
The date of initial application is one consideration
in the selection process. Names are added to the
waiting list immediately after the office receives
completed applications, We welcome wait-list families
at all school events.
