• Visit Career Services Office
• Meet with career counselor to discuss major
• Take Career Planning Class, INTD13
• Talk with professors, counselors and parents about possible careers
• Take classes to explore interests
• For local jobs register on PoetPaths.com and register on MonsterTrak.com to receive career/job information

Sophomore Year
(Find a career interest)
• Utilize self assessment inventories
• Attend workshop to develop a resume
• Meet with a career counselor to learn about different occupations and internship opportunities
• Check out the Career Library
• Decide on a major
• Consider a summer internship

Junior Year
(Increase your knowledge and experience)
• Learn career options connected to your major
• Attend Career Panels to meet alumni
• Talk with Alumni Mentors (on-line info)
• Begin to make tentative career choice
• Attend Graduate School Information Workshop
• Take Career Planning Class, INDT 14
• Meet with career counselor to discuss internships
• Do one or more internship in your major field of interest

Senior Year
(Implement a career plan)
• In the fall, apply to graduate schools
• Apply for fellowships
• Update your resume
• Attend Career Panel Nights to meet alumni
• Take Career Planning Class, INTD 14
• Attend career workshops to gain job search skills
• Sign up for on-campus interviewing
• Meet with career counselor to learn job search strategies
• Attend the spring career fair to apply for positions
