Student Accessibility Services works with academic offices and campus departments to facilitate the inclusion and full participation of students with disabilities at Whittier.

We encourage faculty to reach out to us with their concerns.

Syllabi Statement

Faculty are requested to include the following statement on their course syllabi: “Students desiring accommodations on the basis of physical, learning, or psychological disability for this class are to contact Student Accessibility Services. Student Accessibility Services is located on the ground floor of the Library building and can be reached by calling extension 4825.”

The Faculty Room is a space for faculty and administrators at postsecondary institutions to learn about how to create classroom environments and academic activities that maximize the learning of all students, including those with disabilities.
