Edgar Harden, AlumnusAn entrepreneur at heart, Art and Wine Consultant Edgar Harden '93 has found a successful niche in the trading of vintage spirits. His business Old Spirits Company offers collectors a bargain on rare, historic, and pop-culture bottles such as samples from the set of the hit television series Mad Men.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Harden's company handles bottles heavy with historical mystique—Havana rum that Hemingway might have savored, exotic absinthes, Jazz Age red vermouth and vodkas suitable for early–Bond period martinis.

While at Whittier, Harden studied western humanities through the Whittier Scholars Program.
