AIDS Memorial Quilt Exhibition

Begun in 1987 to memorialize and celebrate the lives of friends and family members lost to AIDS, today the AIDS Memorlal Quilt has grown to become the largest community art project of all time, composed of more than 48,000 individual memorial panels & weighing an estimated 54 tons.
