Artist Talk & Opening Reception: Ihrie Means, "Storytelling"

Whittier College is pleased to present the exhibit Storytelling by Ihrie Means.

“This exhibit is arranged to give an unedited, non-glorified look at the process of putting together a graphic novel. By bringing my studio into the gallery space visitors will get the chance to see what goes into the making of two very different genres of graphic narrative," said Means.

Senior Class Gift Final Celebration

After the President's Dinner seniors are encouraged to make their way to Setá in Uptown Whittier for a night of fun and dancing! This event is open only to students whom have participated in the Senior Class Gift Campaign — if they haven't given yet, graduates are able to do so at the Senior Week events or anytime online. Baccalaureate Ceremony

The Baccalaureate Ceremony is an opportunity for graduates, faculty, and families to gather together and express gratitude for the Whittier College experience. The Baccalaureate Ceremony is a bookend to the President's Convocation that students attended at the beginning of their collegiate experience, graduates will participate in the Light of Learning Ceremony.


Latino Graduates Celebration

The Latino Graduates Celebration is a bilingual ceremony sponsored by the Ortiz Programs, the Latino student associations on campus, and ASWC Senate to celebrate the academic success and achievement of Whittier students. Minority Caucus and Interfaith Programs Senior Recognition

This event is for all seniors who wish to be acknowledged for their academic success and contributions to promoting diversity at Whittier College through involvement and leadership within Minority Caucus and Interfaith Programs. Hairspray, The Musical (March 5-9)

Hairspray, the Musical will be coming to the Whittier College stage March 5-8 at 8 p.m. and March 9 at 2 p.m. in the Robinson Theatre of the Ruth B. Shannon Center of the Performing Arts, 6760 Painter Ave., Whittier, CA 90608.
