RealNewMusic Concert, Featuring Music Professor and Composer Teresa LeVelle

RealNewMusic is an annual concert that features "art music" created and performed by composers/performers.

To be considered, composers submit original work in the style of art music (as opposed to pop or folk music) and participate in its performance as either a performer or conductor.

This year's RealNewMusic concert will feature aLtered sTates: a story of life, love, and mental illness, a one-act, chamber opera by Whittier College Associate Professor of Music Teresa LeVelle and performances by percussion quartet Free the Birds.
