​The Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts presents a unique exhibit featuring the work of Wayne Healy and David Botello of East Los Angeles Streetscapers. 

Artist Reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Join writer Ted Conover around the Dr. Martin Ortiz Memorial Fire Pit to hear about his early experiences riding the rails which originated as an escape from the college but doubled as research for his senior anthropology thesis. 

Whittier College Goes Wicked

The LEAP Office, ASWC, Dean of Students Office, and Human Resources have collaborated to provide 100+ students, staff, and faculty an opportunity to see the 11th longest-running Broadway show in history and winner of 3 Tony Awards, 6 Drama Desk Awards and 1 Grammy Award – the musical “Wicked” The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Student tickets were subsidized by ASWC Student Body Fees. 

Poets with the LA Kings

Join fellow alumni in the Los Angeles region to watch the LA Kings take on the Winnipeg Jets! A limited number of tickets are available and will go on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are $125 which includes your evening in the Hyde Suite, snacks, drinks, and good company - plus $10 of your cost will go to the College as a gift to student scholarships.
