The Los Angeles KISS, Southern California's newest professional arena football team, will face the Portland Thunder during its home season opener on April 5 at the Honda Center. The KISS’s season runs through August and includes nine (9) home games.

2014 Writer's Festival: Craft Talk with Ron Carlson

As part of the Whittier College Writers Festival, author Ron Carlson will be hosting a Craft Talk on Tues., April 29 at 4 p.m. at Wardman Library. Admission is free and open to the public. He will also be hosting a Reading and Q&A after the talk, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

2014 Writer's Festival: Craft Talk with Dave Alvin

As part of the Whittier College Writers Festival, Grammy Award-winning artist Dave Alvin will be hosting a Craft Talk at the Ruth B. Shannon Center on Sat., April 26, at 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Dave Alvin Live In Concert will take place after the talk, beginning at 8:00 p.m.

As part of the Whittier College Writers Festival, musician and author Joy Harjo, will be hosting a Craft Talk at the Ruth B. Shannon Center on Fri., April 25, at 4 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. She will also be hosting a Reading and Q&A after the talk, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
