As vice president
for enrollment at Whittier College, Lisa Meyer is responsible for
oversight of admission and financial aid operations. Meyer was appointed
to the senior officer position in 2004, following a national search.
She had served as dean of admission and then associate vice president
for institutional image at the University of La Verne for the previous
six years. While there, enrollment increased by 30%, median entering
SAT scores increased by 150 points, and the diversity of the student
population increased to nearly 60% students of color. |

Prior experience
includes employment as the director of corporate and foundations
relations at Scripps College, director of college guidance at the Webb
Schools, and director of admission at Pitzer College.
Meyer holds a B.A.
from Willamette University with majors in English and Spanish language
and literature and an M.A. from Boston College in English Literature. |
