Students who have successfully completed college-level
course work at an accredited two-year or four-year institution
after attaining a high school diploma are eligible to apply
for transfer to Whittier College.
 |
 | If you have a high
school diploma, there is no minimum credit requirement prior to
transferring. If you have attained a GED in lieu of a high school
diploma, you must have 30 transferable college credits prior to
enrolling at Whittier. As a transfer student, you may apply for
entrance in the Fall or Spring term. We encourage you to choose the
option that best fits into your educational plan.
For Fall 2008
candidates, priority for admission, scholarship, and financial aid
will be given to those who complete their files by April 15, 2008. For Spring 2008 candidates, priority will be given to those
who complete their files by December 1, 2007. Admission decisions,
scholarship and financial aid eligibility notifications are sent on
a rolling basis to qualified applicants. Students who are offered
admission to the College receive an official evaluation of the
transferability of their completed college-level course work shortly
after receipt of their offer of admission.
Transfer
Reply Transfer candidates who have been offered admission
should notify the college of their intent to enroll by submitting
the required non-refundable enrollment deposit. Whittier College
will accept these deposits on a first-come first-serve basis as long
as appropriate space in the class is available.
