Whittier College alumni are essential to the college’s continued growth and success. The Whittier College Alumni Association promotes this support by maintaining communication between alumni and the college and providing opportunities for meaningful alumni involvement. Members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors are appointed to their positions based on demonstrated involvement, support and commitment to the college and the association.

Board members are required to attend two board meetings annually, to attend and help promote major events on campus and as many area and regional events as possible. Members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors also help identify and recruit volunteers and also support the college financially through gifts to the college.
