In response to
President Herzberger’s request for alumni stories, Nicholas “E.Z.”
Street ’57 submitted “Whittier College’s Greatest Team,” an
essay sharing memories of his Whittier years—from his
recruitment by enthusiastic sports coaches, to his experiences
playing on the Poet football team, to his recollections of life
on campus. An excerpt of that essay was published in The Rock,
Spring 2007, and the full text may be read by clicking
here.
