 Local Geneology Society's Materials Become Wardman Library Special Collection
The Whittier Area Geneological Society (WAGS) has moved its extensive heritage collection of more than 3,000 items--including family histories, biographies, histories on American settlers, research guides, and works on Native Americans, among others--to the Bonnie Bell Wardman Library, where it will be available to students of the College, as well as visiting researchers. The move came at the suggestion of WAGS President John Hergesheimer, himself a 1954 alumnus of the College. To read the Whittier Daily News article (12-09-07), click here.

"Pancho Villa" Commands Shannon Center Stage
On Dec. 5 at 7:30p.m., Teatro en Espańol con Teatro Sinergia will present "Pancho Villa" entirely in Spanish. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased by calling the Box Office, 562.907.4203.

Winter Break Arrives, Jan Term Approaches

Theatre Alumna Martinez Earns Raves for "Sweet 15"
Onstage now at the San Diego Repertory Theater, Whittier grad Alma Martinez ’84 plays a central role in the production “Sweet 15,” about a man who wants to throw his 25-year-old daughter a belated quince
