Originally an Off-Broadway play, Stop Kiss focuses on
two professional New York City women who meet and develop an
attraction for one another. Callie is a helicopter traffic
reporter and Sara is a third grade teacher. Together they both
discover and uncover feelings unknown feelings for women. What
begins as seemingly innocent self-discovery eventually turns
violent when the two women are physically attacked and beaten
after kissing on a park bench.
Stop Kiss is written by New York City-based playwright
Diana Son. The play debuted in New York City in 1999 to critical
acclaim. Stop Kiss earned the Gay and Lesbian Alliance
Against Defamation Media Award for Outstanding New York
Production.
This production features an all student cast.
