Whittier College's 63rd Annual Bach Festival
WHAT: Whittier College's 63rd Annual Bach Festival
WHEN: Sunday, March 19, Bach Festival Chamber Concert, 8 p.m.
Tuesday, March 21, Bach Musicale, 7 p.m.
Wednesday, March 22, Paul Galbraith, 8 p.m.
Saturday, March 25, Chorale Bel Canto, 8 p.m.
Sunday, March 26, Cantata, 8 p.m.
WHERE:Chamber Concert, Musicale and Cantata will be performed at the Memorial Chapel at Whittier College, 13406 Philadelphia Street, Whittier.
Paul Galbraith and Chorale Bel Canto will perform at the Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts, 13406 Philadelphia Street.

ADD: The 63rd Annual Bach Festival begins at Whittier College's own Memorial Chapel with the Bach Chamber Concert. Faculty, resident artists, music alumni and guests perform complete vocal and instrumental chamber works of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries. A reception will follow in Arnold Hall.
The celebration will continue when Chorale Bel Canto and the Bach Festival Orchestra perform Bach's "Magnificat," "Brandenburg Concerto No. 3," and Cantata No. 4, "Christ lag in Todesbanden." The choir will be under the direction of Stephen Gothold, professor of music.
The final event of the festival is the Cantata Concert presented by the College Choir, and Cantori Sine Nomine, a professional chamber choir and backed by an orchestra. A reception follows in Arnold Hall.
