Set in small-town
Mississippi, “Crimes of the Heart” tells the story
of the three quirky McGrath sisters, who come together for a
reunion when Babe decides to shoot her husband. The sisters
reminisce about family life, carp at one another and attempt to
understand their mother’s suicide. The play won the Pulitzer in
1981 and was later made into a movie with Sissy Spacek, Jessica
Lange and Diane Keaton.
