ADD: Including four paintings and one sculpture made up of 100 similar but separate elements, "Landscape" is a combination of conceptual investigations and intuitive movements. Although they are clearly referential to their respective seasons, the four paintings remain open to other ideas, emotions, interpretations and inspirations. The sculptural work investigates the idea of memory through a repetitive act, attempting, in a way, to reclaim the innocence of the activity of making art.

Roden's work has been exhibited internationally as well as locally, including a recent solo exhibition at the Pac Des Ouches in Nevers, France. He holds a B.F.A. from Otis/Parsons and an M.F.A. from the Art Center College of Design.
