ADD: A truly unique and imaginative theater piece, "Love Letters" is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime, between two people who grew up together and went their separate ways, but continue to share confidences. The play--as the actors read the letters aloud--creates many evocative, touching, frequently funny and always telling situations between a male and a female character who are physically apart, but remain as close, spiritually, as two people could be.
Few actors are as seasoned as the stars of "Love Letters," Michael Learned and Lawrence Pressman. Along with the numerous accomplishments these two veterans have experienced, Michael Learned has won four Emmys for best actress, three of which came from her role as Olivia Walton in the long-time television hit, "The Waltons."
