CALENDAR Reading of a new play by Horton Foote

WHAT: Professional reading of a new play by Horton Foote

ADD: As part of the New Works Reading series, The Lost World Theater Company, in association with the Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts, presents a professional reading of a new comedy by the playwright Horton Foote.

Foote--having written plays for television, radio, film, and stage--has won Oscars for the screenplays of To Kill a Mockingbird and Tender Mercies.

Past new works readings have included "The Day Emily Married," which was read by a cast of professional actors including Peri Gilpin who plays Ros on the hit television sitcom "Frazier."
