Featuring songsters Samantha Samuels, Lisa Bowman, and Joe Barnett—the award-winning cast from We’ll Take Manhattan—this concert revisits popular music of the 1930s and 1940s, taking listeners on a “sentimental journey” down memory lane. The scheduled performance will include favorites by Glenn Miller, Irving Berlin, and George and Ira Gershwin, and tunes made famous by such sirens as Billie Holiday and Kate Smith, among others.
This event is part of the Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts’ Cabaret Series, presented in association with Little Bit Productions. For more information on this or other concert series at the Shannon Center, please visit the theater online at www.shannoncenter.org.
