Descriptions of Residence Halls
Philadelphia House Ext. 4223

Ball Hall



Ball Hall is coeducational and houses approximately 90 students.
The double rooms in Ball Hall are 15.6' X 15.6' and include sinks.

The lounge area has a piano and cable television, a kitchen and a fireplace.

 

Harris Hall



Harris Hall has a panoramic view of Los Angeles. This facility houses approximately 150 students. Each unit (A, B, C, and D) is air conditioned and carpeted. Each unit has a kitchen upstairs and downstairs with a dishwasher on the first floor; the lounges have fireplaces and cable television.

Harris B is designated as a Multicultural hall, whereby students living in this facility will be presented with programs to educate and inform students about other cultures.

Harris C and D are our Substance-Free halls for students who wish to live in a smoke and alcohol-free environment.

The Harris complex is located near the Athletics Center.

Johnson Hall

Johnson Hall is the only hall directly attached to its Faculty Master's home. The hall houses approximately 90 students and is coeducational by floor.

Double rooms are 16' x 16' and include sinks.

This hall is closest to the Wardman Library and Campus Inn. The lounge features a fireplace, pool table and piano. Johnson Hall is located near academic buildings.

Stauffer Hall



Stauffer Hall houses approximately 210 students. The facility is coeducational by wing and floor.


Double rooms are 13.6' x 14' and include sinks. The recreational room includes a fireplace, ping pong table, piano and pool table. The computer lab is located on the first floor. A professional staff member lives in Stauffer Hall on the first floor. Stauffer Hall is located near academic buildings and the library.

Turner Hall

Our newest residence hall, Turner Hall is located on top of the hill and features a panoramic view of Los Angeles. This coeducational facility is reserved for approximately 180 upperclass students.

The lounge features a fireplace and cable television. The ground floor has a kitchen. There are study lounges. A professional staff member lives in Turner Hall on the first floor.

Turner Hall is near the Athletics Center.

Wardman Hall


The Whittier Scholars Program makes its home in Wardman Hall. This coeducational facility houses approximately 34 students.
Double rooms are 15' x 15'. Classrooms make up the ground floor; the lounge has a pool table and fireplace.

Wardman is a quiet, intimate, close community and is next to the Wardman Gym which features our art department.

Wanberg Hall



Wanberg Hall houses approximately 90 students and is coeducational by floor. The hall is next to Hartley House and close to the Athletics Center.

Double rooms are 15' x 14'. The lounge includes a fireplace and cable television. Computers and a study lounge are available for student use. A professional staff member lives in Wanberg Hall on the first floor.
