Center for Advising & Academic Success
The Center for Advising & Academic Success (CAAS) at Whittier empowers students to become successful, self-directed, and collaborative lifelong learners. For students who are looking for short or long term assistance with their educational objectives – through tutoring, workshops, advising, coaching, or if they are simply looking for a space to work on an assignment - CAAS' support services and holistic learning environment meet the needs of anyone who is willing to work towards building and sharpening their academic and personal goals.
The Whittier College Faculty-in-Residence Program combines educational and social programming in an intimate and informal setting and is modeled after similar programs at Oxford and Cambridge universities.
Whittier College Writing Program
Whittier’s Writing Program is designed to teach students how to communicate effectively at each successive level of their major discipline, as well as to general audiences outside their chosen fields.
