Whittier College Professors Perform "It's a Wonderful Life" Benefit Radio Play

Adapted into a quick-paced and entertaining live performance radio play, It’s a Wonderful Life will come to the stage of the Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m. The production is a benefit reading for the Enceladus Theatre Company and will be directed by the company’s producing artistic director Gil Gonzalez, who is also professor of theatre and communications arts at Whittier College. 

The ensemble includes Whittier professors, students, and alumni including: Charlotte Bailey ’13, Kyle Fox ’12, physics professor Seamus Lagan, Oscar Nava ’18, English professor David Paddy, and visiting lecturer Katie Liddicoat, managing artistic director of Enceladus Theatre, as well as Chris Cannon, theatre professor at Santa Ana College and Enceladus Theatre artistic associate.

A dessert reception will follow this special benefit, which serves as Enceladus Theatre Company’s largest fundraiser of the year.
