Events & Programs

There's always something happening at Whittier, from outdoor movie nights and traditional special events to off-campus volunteer experiences and excursions throughout Southern California.

Campus events and experiences are open to ALL students but some events are especially planned with commuter students in mind.

Through its Excursions Program, OSE partners with offices across campus to provide opportunities for Whittier College students to experience amusement parks, professional sporting events, theater and the performing arts, as well as other landmarks Southern California has to offer. Excursions are usually provided at minimal or no cost to students, but often require a refundable deposit to hold a reservation.

Past Excursions Have Included

  • Explore LA: (Travel to LA Live via Metro, Visit Santa Monica Beach / 3rd Street Promenade, & Splash! Water Park in La Mirada)
  • Professional Athletic Games (Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, & Los Angeles Clippers)
