Accredited by the California Board of Education and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, Whittier's graduate program in education offers a master's degree in education (M.A.), as well as the single-subject and multiple-subject credential.

Whittier College Department of Theater and Communication Arts Presents How I Learned to Drive by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel, directed by Professor Gil Gonzalez. A wildly funny, surprising and devastating tale of survival as seen through the lens of a troubling relationship between a young girl and an older man. How I Learned to Drive is the story of a woman who learns the rules of the road and life from behind the wheel. Winner of the 1998 Pulitzer Prize.
