UndocuAlly training for staff & faculty

UndocuAlly trainings are offered periodically and are open to all staff and faculty. These trainings aim to educate the campus community so that it may, in turn, effectively support the undocumented student population. Participants receive an overview of immigration history, recent legislation, current and future realities, and resources to share with prospect and enrolled undocumented students.

The UndocuAlly training is also available as a two-hour training for departments. Training requests may be submitted to oei@whittier.edu.

UndocuPoet peer ally training for students

With empowerment and advocacy as its focus, the UndocuPoet training unfolds over a series of workshops and serves as the foundation for a commitment to support undocumented students everywhere. All students are invited to participate.

Bias Incident Reporting

The Bias Response Team is committed to tracking incidents of bias that occur on our campus in an effort to be proactive in creating an equitable, just, and inclusive climate for all. As such, the team handles all bias incident reports and responds by providing support to students, faculty, and staff making a report and addressing the incident.

Whittier College community members who have seen, heard, or experienced bias should report the incident using the Bias Reporting Form.
