Can I change my Gmail password from within Gmail?

No.  Gmail gets the password from my.Whittier.edu, so you have to change your my.Whittier.edu password and wait approximately 60 minutes for it to sync.
 

I have 2 Gmail accounts. Some features are not available in my Whittier Gmail account.

Go to the Gmail settings area and make the other Gmail account the default. 
 

Will my accounts stay active after I graduate?

Whittier Gmail accounts are only available to active students and student who have graduated. If you do not fall into one of these categories, your Whittier Gmail account may not be available to you. Current College policy is that my.Whittier.edu and Whittier Gmail accounts stay active indefinitely for Whittier alumni. However, my.Whittier passwords are set to expire after nine months of non-use, for security reasons. If you log in to your my.Whittier account periodically, the nine month counter will reset and your accounts will remain active. If your account expires, contact IT Services at helpdesk@whittier.edu or 562.907.4287
