Commencement for the Class of 2024

The 2024 Spring Commencement Ceremony took place on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 4 p.m. in Memorial Stadium.

Memorial Stadium is located at the highest point of the Whittier College campus. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water if you intend to walk to the Stadium from lower campus. For reference, it is a half-mile walk from Painter and Earlham to the Stadium, with an elevation gain of 118 feet.

Please give yourself ample time to park your vehicle, and walk. It is highly suggested guests bring a sweater or light coat as the canyon location gets extremely chilly in the evening.

We ask that guests avoid bringing air horns, noise devices.

  • Guests can bring banners but cannot attach stakes, rods, or other sharp objects. Please ensure that banners do not obstruct the view of others.
