Orientation

Breadcrumb

First-Year Orientation is a comprehensive program that assists new students, their parents, and families in making successful transitions into the Whittier College community.

New students are assisted in the development of competencies – academic, economic, social, cultural, and personal – associated with success as a college student. Faculty, staff, administrators, and peer mentors work to ensure that students are equipped to fully engage in their college experience.

Orientation for first-year, international and transfer students traditionally takes place over Labor Day weekend in early September. For detailed information, please visit our Orientation webpage.
