Event Description

performersAloha Spirit Performing Arts (ASPA) is a Polynesian Dance Group. Classes are taught in Uptown Whittier California by instructor, Christine Hom. As our group steadily grows, we come together with the love of island culture through dance and fun activities. Some of the dances taught are Hawaiian Hula, New Zealand Poi Balls, and Tahitian dances.

Our main goal is to enrich self development, instill values, support each other and encourage through our Spirit of Aloha.

We enjoy performing for public and private events. Some of our credits include La Habra Meals on Wheels Tropical Paradise Fundraiser, Soroptimist of Whittier Luau, Easter Island at the SouthBay Pavilion, Ladies Night Luau at SouthBay Pavilion, Fountain Garden Retirement Home, Inspiration Day at Inspire Charter Enrichment Adventures, La Habra’s Citrus Fair and James Intveld’s Aloha Elvis Tribute to name a few…this will be our 2nd year performing at the Ruth B Shannon’s Patio show, and we are looking forward to sharing our Aloha.
