Remote learning to continue through Spring 2021
We bring you greetings from Whittier College with the hope that you and your loved ones are all safe, healthy, and well.
As you can imagine, we have given much thought and consideration on how best to move forward with plans for Homecoming 2020 in light of COVID-19. Based on guidance from the College, public health considerations, and concern for everyone's well-being, we have made the decision to plan for a virtual-only celebration that will culminate on October 17, 2020.
We know many of you were looking forward to the in-person event this year, and while even the most inspired virtual programming could never replace the energy and excitement of being on campus with your classmates, friends, and family, we hope to find meaningful and impactful ways to connect online. As we head into the fall, our goal is to create a series of events that will ignite the Poet spirit and bring the Whittier family together--The Road to Homecoming.
We will keep you updated via email, the alumni website, and social media. Your patience and support are appreciated as we develop these plans to celebrate the Poet community and acknowledge milestone celebrations.
We have enjoyed connecting with you virtually through the Poet Social Series and look forward to engaging with you further as we embark on The Road to Homecoming. If you'd like to get more involved in the planning, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations.
