Event Description

Adobe After Effects is an essential tool of motion design, a fast-growing segment of the design and media world. This introductory course covers foundations of motion design and 2D animation for use in graphics for film and TV, music videos, social media marketing, and other time-based applications. You will be guided through the principles of animation, helping to control and execute intentional and descriptive animations. A brief survey of the industries using this software will help contextualize assignments, so you’ll leave the class understanding the field and how to communicate effectively using moving images.

Office hours: 6-8 p.m. on Wednesdays

Begins Oct. 17.
